How can I add a new device/ connect to network?

Different device models need to be added in different ways depending on your smartphone and device model, there are two ways to add devices: using a QR code and using the AP mode.

1, Preparations

Before you start adding devices, here are some important points to consider before adding devices

1. Make sure the device is turned on, and the red indicator light is flashing. It's important to use the original power adapter and cord to avoid issues like insufficient power supply.
2. Check your network connection. Connect your phone to a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and use your phone's system browser to visit a website to make sure the network connection is good.
3. Ensure that your phone and the camera are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not currently support 5GHz Wi-Fi. If you are using a dual-band router, you can log in to the router's background control panel to enable a 2.4GHz/2.4G Wi-Fi connection, or contact the router's provider to inquire how to enable it.
4. Place the camera close to the router. This will help ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection during setup.

2, Allow necessary permissions

It is important to grant the necessary permissions during the process of adding a device to your smartphone. Here are the steps to reauthorize location permissions for the blurams app on iOS and Android devices:

1. iOS users: System Settings-> blurams-> Location -> Select “While Using”
2. Android users: System Settings-> Applications-> blurams -> Permissions -> Open "Location"

By following these steps, you can reauthorize location permissions and complete the process of adding a device to your smartphone.

3， Add the camera in the app

1, QR Code

1. Open the device list in the app and tap the "+" sign in the upper right corner.
2. Select the device model that you want to add.
3. Press and hold the SET button on the device until the indicator light begins blinking red(Yellow), or you hear a beep.
4. Make sure that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Enter the Wi-Fi password and connect it with the device, please select the correct Wi-Fi encryption mode, if you don't know it, please select the WPA2.
5. Use the app to generate a QR code and have the device scan it. Maintain a proper distance from the camera until the indicator light turns green, or you hear two beeps. Can't Scan the QR code?
6. After successfully scanning the QR code, the device will start connecting to the Wi-Fi and server to complete the setup.

2, AP Mode (Outdoor Pro/ Outdoor Lite)

1. Open the device list in the app and tap the "+" sign in the upper right corner.
2. Select the device model that you want to add.
3. Press and hold the SET button on the device until the indicator light begins blinking red (Yellow), or you hear a beep.
4. On your phone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to the Wi-Fi network named "CC_xxxxxxx".
5. Once your phone is connected to the device's Wi-Fi network, return to the Blurams app and the app will automatically display the Wi-Fi list scanned by the device.
6. Choose the Wi-Fi network that you want the device to connect to and enter the password.
7. Click "Next" and wait for the device to connect to the Wi-Fi and server to complete the setup.
