A week of connectivity issues (update post)
AnsweredHello,
A few days ago I posted about how my four Dome Lite 2 indoor cameras all suddenly began experiencing connectivity issues with constant lag and buffering, which has not stopped since, leaving them nearly unusable. I explained that this happens on both the Blurams app and the Blurams website (client.blurams.com), that I’ve tried restarting my devices, rebooting my Wi-Fi gateway, reinstalling the app, etc., none of which helped.
I received a reply from the Support account suggesting a few more troubleshooting steps: Testing other devices on my 2.4 GHz connection, making sure the Blurams app is up to date, testing different camera quality/bandwidth settings, checking for firmware updates, and resetting the devices. I tried it all, and none of it helped.
I have not received any further replies in the last couple days; this, and the fact that the post is marked as “answered”, leads me to think the support team may have missed my follow-up reply in that thread. Given that the Support account usually replies to new posts here within a day, I’m posting this as a new topic in the hope that I’ll receive a response here. (I’d be happy to continue this by email if directed to.)
Thanks.

Hello, Thank you for updating us on your ongoing issue. We're sorry that you've been dealing with these connectivity problems for a week, and that your previous follow-up didn't get a timely response. To help us further look into this issue with your four Dome Lite 2 cameras, could you please provide the devices' Mac/SN codes? You can find this information in the Blurams app by going to your camera's Preferences > Technical Information. Additionally, can you let us know what the current status of your cameras' indicator lights is? - Is the indicator completely off? - Is the indicator red (either solid or flashing)? - Is the indicator flashing green? We will get back to you as soon as we receive this information to resolve your issue. Blurams Support Team 1 -
Thanks for getting back to me.
Here are my cameras’ MAC addresses & device IDs (which is what I assume you meant by their “SN codes”):
CAMERA 1:
» MAC address: 14:C9:CF:4E:66:0A
» Device ID: 1800240400201005095791CAMERA 2:
» MAC address: 14:C9:CF:68:A8:C6
» Device ID: 1800240400201005064920CAMERA 3:
» MAC address: 14:C9:CF:48:F3:34
» Device ID: 1800240400201004259448CAMERA 4:
» MAC address: 14:C9:CF:49:4F:6D
» Device ID: 1800240400201004256758(I just noticed this info was previously requested in my previous thread and I had completely forgotten to provide it there. My apologies.)
Additionally, the status indicator lights for all cameras are solid green (though I turn them off in the settings).
Thanks again. Please let me know if you need any further info, and I hope to hear from you soon.
