Doorbell failing to charge

My doorbell is not recharging via the USB cable. Anybody else had the same issue?

  Hi, please use the 5V/1A or 5V/2A power adapter to charge the doorbell for 6 hours, then check it again.

  If still not working, please contact the support team for advice.

  I have contacted the support team as it appears to be a faulty USB port on the doorbell itself but nobody has responded
