E20C connection problems
AnsweredFollowing the instructions, Power on wait 30 seconds then press and hold the reset button. This done I am expecting a bleep or a red flashing light, after the bleep the red flashing light starts but the camera does a full reset. Both pan and tilt motors are tested and the camera then returns to its default position. The camera actually never reaches the state to read the QR code.
I have a dual frequency router but turn the 5Ghz off leaving only the 2.4Ghz operational. The cameras were 2mts from the router whilst trying the connection process.
I have purchased a double camera pack and both are doing the same.

Hello, thank you for your detailed description. In response to your feedback that the camera cannot enter the scanning and distribution network state (reset directly after self checking), we suggest that you follow the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. * * Disable the router's "dual band integration" function * * - Even if 5G is turned off, if "dual band integration" is still enabled, the 2.4G signal protocol may be abnormal. Please split 2.4G separately and set a separate WiFi name (such as' Cam_2.4G ').
2. * * Change the encryption method to WPA2-PSK (AES) * * - WPA3 encryption is not compatible with most home camera wireless chips, which can cause the device to abandon the network after self checking.
3. * * Disable AP isolation/client isolation * * - After this feature is enabled, the phone and camera cannot communicate with each other, and the device cannot receive scanning messages.
4. * * Manually fix 2.4G channel * * - It is recommended to choose one of 1, 6, or 11 to avoid automatic frequency hopping causing network interruption.
5. * * Check if the lens protective film is torn off * * - Ensure that the camera can scan the QR code displayed on the app clearly.
If the problem persists after the above steps, please contact our after-sales support team directly via email and provide the device serial number (SN) for further verification. Communicating through after-sales channels will be faster than the PayPal dispute process.
