There are two possibilities for this issue: does the camera report "Unable to connect to server" immediately after connecting to the router (WiFi), or does it report it after about a minute?
If the message "Server connection failed" appears immediately after connecting to WiFi, please provide the Mac address of the device and the specific time when the issue occurred.
If "Unable to connect to server" is displayed after a long-term (at least 30 seconds) WiFi connection, it indicates that the device's network signal reception is weak and unable to send requests to the platform. We recommend that you move the device closer to the router for binding.
Alternatively, you can try setting the phone hotspot to be bound to a specific device for connection, and see if it works. This way, you can rule out any router issues.
How to bind a mobile hotspot to a device:
You need two mobile phones.
Use your first mobile phone as a router and enable the hotspot WiFi.
The second phone and device can be paired by connecting to the hotspot WiFi released by the first phone.
Note: If the device displays the message "Successfully connected to WiFi, please try to connect to the server" after being bound, but the connection fails after about 1 minute, it indicates that there is an abnormal network transmission. You need to check whether the WiFi signal of the mobile hotspot is stable and ensure that the booster maintains the signal in a good condition to avoid blocking the transmission network.
