    Dear Customer,

Thank you for your question. The answer is: no, your phone does not need to be on the same Wi‑Fi network as the camera to view the live stream. Blurams cameras are designed for remote live viewing – you can watch your home from anywhere with an internet connection. This is exactly how you can monitor your pets while you are away.

If you cannot access the live stream from work, common reasons are:

    1. Camera offline: Check whether the camera at home is powered on and connected to Wi‑Fi. If the camera is offline, the App will show “Device offline”.
    2. Network issue at work: Your workplace network may block certain ports or video streaming (e.g., corporate firewall). Try switching to mobile data (4G/5G) on your phone.
    3. App or account issue: Make sure you are logged into the same account and that the App is updated. Try logging out and back in.
    4. Router or ISP restrictions: Some home routers or ISPs may block remote access. Try restarting your home router.

    Suggested troubleshooting steps:
    - First, confirm that the camera appears “Online” in the App.
    - Disable Wi‑Fi at your workplace and use mobile data to test.
    - If mobile data works, the issue is your workplace network. If mobile data also fails, check your home camera network.

If the problem persists, please provide the exact error message or a screenshot from the App, and we will assist further.
