Thank you for your recognition of our cameras, applications, and cloud recording services, as well as for raising questions about SD card usage.

Regarding your question, we have the following answers for you:

    1. What can you do with the recording in the SD card?
In addition to directly replaying the video from the SD card in the app, you can also:
-* * Remove the SD card and connect it to the computer through the card reader * *: Insert the SD card into the card reader and connect it to the computer. You can directly access, copy, cut, or delete the video files in the card. This is the most convenient way to batch export and backup SD card recordings.
-Loop recording: When the SD card is full, the device will automatically overwrite the earliest recording to achieve continuous recording.

    2. Is it impossible to download video from SD card, just like cloud recording?
Yes, currently the app does not support downloading videos directly from the SD card to the phone's photo album. You need to use the above method of "removing the SD card and connecting it to the computer" to export the video recording. You said that 'saving through screen recording' is indeed a current method of obtaining SD card recordings on mobile phones, but we understand that this is not convenient enough.

    3. Is the '12 second event recording' only displayed on the library page?
It's not true. The free "12 second event recording" is part of the * * cloud storage service * *. These 12 second short video clips will not only be saved on the "Events" (or "Library") page of the app, but you can also view them in the following ways:

At the bottom of the live streaming page of the app, switch between "SD card playback mode" or "cloud service playback mode" to view the corresponding video content between different storage sources.

If you want to view and save longer videos more conveniently through the app, you can consider upgrading to a paid cloud storage package (such as 7-day or 30 day event recording/all day recording).

I hope the above explanation is helpful to you. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Thank you. That's very clear. But it is a shame that you can't access the SD card remotely. I'm going to have my camera located in an area that is not very accessible. But cloud storage works great.
