To record video locally when using Blurams Cares, you can utilize the device's SD card feature for recording video based on motion detection. Here are the detailed steps:
1. Ensure SD Card Compatibility:
- Ensure your SD card is functioning properly by testing it on a computer using an SD card reader.
- The SD card should be formatted in FAT32 format and the capacity must be between 8GB to 128GB.
2. Insert SD Card:
- Power off the device before inserting the SD card.
- After inserting the SD card, power the device back on.
3. Configure Recording Mode:
- Go to the device's [Preferences/Settings] on the blurams app.
- Navigate to [Video Storage] and select SD card as the viewing mode.
- In [SD card record mode], choose "Event Recording" which will record video data to the SD card only when motion is detected.
4. SD Card Reading Capability:
- Ensure that the "SD card read and write switch" (default on) and "SD card recording switch" (default off) are both turned on to enable data recording to the SD card.
- Cloud recording and SD card recording can be performed simultaneously. You can select any playback mode to view the recording.
Note: The device will only record motion events locally to the SD card when the settings are configured appropriately.
