Ai descriptions of events
AnsweredAnyone else having an issue with Ai description switching from English to Spanish and then back to English? Not sure why it’s going it but it’s annoying, especially when my camera sensitivity picks up every single spider that moves. Also, I see event descriptions like earlier when it said there were two deer next to the woods by the parked vehicle and when I looked for the footage, nothing. I’m about ready to switch to a different service and camera due to it. A spider builds a web close to my camera and it’s a never ending notification fest!

I understand your concern, this does affect the user experience. Regarding the issue of switching languages for AI event descriptions that you mentioned, it may be caused by the device automatically switching in a multi-language environment or language preferences in system settings. We suggest that you can try the following steps to solve it:
1. Go to the [Preferences] of your device, confirm whether the language setting is your favorite language (e.g. English), and make sure the setting is saved.
2. Check whether the app or device firmware is the latest version, and sometimes it will fix the problem of such language switching after upgrading.
3. If your device supports multiple languages, try explicitly setting it to English in the system language to avoid automatic switching.
4. Regarding the issue that the event description does not match the video, it is recommended that you confirm whether the cloud storage or SD card storage of the device is normal to ensure that the video has not been accidentally deleted or saved in the wrong location.
In addition, your feedback on the issue of frequent notifications is also important. You can reduce the frequency of triggering notifications for small actions (such as spiders) by adjusting the detection sensitivity or activity area. The specific operation is to set the activity area or reduce the detection sensitivity in the [Notifications] section of the device's [Preferences].
To better assist you, please provide the following information:
- The model of the device you are using
- Firmware version of the device
- The specific time period when the problem occurred
- Does this problem occur frequently in specific operations or specific areas?
You can also try restarting the device and applications, or re-binding the device. If the problem persists, please let me know more details, and I will provide you with more informationDetailed solution.0
