Thank you for reaching out about the connection issue you're facing with your A30 dome lite 2. I understand how frustrating it can be when your device struggles to connect to Wi-Fi, especially with the distance and setup limitations you have.

To help resolve the issue, here are a few troubleshooting steps:

    ### 1. Check the Wi-Fi Frequency:
    - The A30 only supports a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. Ensure that your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz network, not just 5GHz. Since your router was installed by the complex, it's possible that only the 5GHz network is prioritized. If you can, you might want to contact your building's management to inquire if they can enable the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or help separate the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.

    ### 2. Router Placement and Proximity:
    - While you mentioned that the device is placed close to the router, sometimes physical obstructions (walls, metal objects, etc.) can still interfere with the signal. If possible, try moving the device and router slightly to test for better signal reception.

    ### 3. Wi-Fi Settings & Password:
    - Double-check the Wi-Fi password you're entering. If the password has any special characters, ensure that it is typed correctly without any mistakes.
    - It could also be useful to try connecting your phone to the router using the same 2.4GHz network to ensure the Wi-Fi is stable.

    ### 4. Re-add the Device:
    - Please try to reset the device by pressing and holding the RESET button on the camera until the red indicator light starts blinking.
    - Once the red light starts blinking, reattempt adding the device through the app by following the Wi-Fi connection setup process.

    ### 5. Network Congestion:
    - If your building’s router is handling many devices, sometimes network congestion can affect connectivity. You could try disconnecting other devices from the router temporarily and then attempt connecting your camera again.

    ### 6. Device and App Permissions:
    - Ensure the location permission is granted on your phone (since some devices require it to scan for Wi-Fi networks).
    - For iOS: SettingsBluramsLocation → Allow while using the app.
    - For Android: SettingsApplicationsBluramsPermissions → Enable Location.

    ### 7. Check the Status Light on the Camera:
    - When you try to connect, pay attention to the light on the device:
    - Red blinking light indicates the device is trying to connect to Wi-Fi.
    - Green blinking light means the device is attempting to connect to the server.

If the issue persists despite trying these steps, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to explore other options or assist with additional troubleshooting.

Feel free to update me on the current status or any other details that may help pinpoint the issue!

I have the same problem, I have the A31 dome lite 2. I purchased this in April 2023 and it is on all the time. It was working this morning and when I went to check on the dog while we were out it said it had lost connection. I have tried all of the above but it just fails to connect saying the wi-fi password is incorrect, but it’s not.

its now saying failed to find wifi, check the name again
