Event Recording
AnsweredA31 CAM- Why doesn’t this Camera record the entire event? It will not record an entire event using SD Card or Cloud storage! I can view the start of the event and then the video moves on to the next event! If someone is walking up to your car and then breaks in, the camera only records long enough to see the purp walk up with his back to you. You don’t know if that purp actually broke in! The camera does the same on all day recordings! What’s the point of having the camera “if you cannot capture the entire event!”???

Dear Customer,I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your A31 camera. Let's work through this together and find a resolution.### Analysis:It sounds like you're facing issues with the camera not recording the entire event, both with SD card and cloud storage. These events seem to stop prematurely, leaving gaps that are crucial for capturing incidents fully.### Possible Solutions:1. **Event Recording Mode:**- The camera may be set to "Event Recording." This mode saves video when motion or sound is detected, but may stop if no further motion/sound is detected.- **Steps to check/change the mode:**1. Open the blurams app, and go to [Preferences/Settings] -> [Video Storage].2. Ensure you have [Event Recording] selected, and verify the settings.2. **SD Card Recording Mode:**- If you're using an SD card, ensure the card is working correctly and correctly formatted.- **Steps to check/change the mode:**1. Open [Preferences/Settings] -> [Video Storage] and check the SD card recording mode.2. You may switch between [Event Recording] and [All-Day Recording] mode to check if the issue persists.3. **Cloud Storage Recording:**- **Cloud Service Recording Modes:**1. Event Recording mode: The camera records only when it detects motion, sound, or human faces.2. Continuous Recording mode: The camera records 24/7 as long as the camera is online and the network is stable.- **Steps to check:**1. Ensure your camera is set to the correct recording mode in [Preferences/Settings] -> [Storage].4. **Detection Sensitivity and Area:**- Adjust the detection sensitivity and ensure the detection area covers the entire region you want to monitor.- **Steps to adjust:**1. Go to [Preferences/Settings] -> [Motion Detection] -> [Detection Sensitivity].2. Adjust the sensitivity to a higher level and ensure the detection area is correctly set.5. **Network and Device Placement:**- Make sure your camera has a stable network connection and is placed correctly to capture the events comprehensively.- If the camera loses the network intermittently, it might fail to record complete events.### Additional Tips:- Ensure your SD card is FAT32 formatted and is between 8GB to 128GB.- Check the app's firmware to ensure your camera's firmware is up to date.### Cloud Service Recommendation:For comprehensive event coverage, I highly recommend subscribing to our Cloud Service. The cloud service ensures continuous recording and stores videos safely, allowing you to access and play back any part of the recorded footage.Thank you for your understanding and patience.Best regards,Blurams Support Team0
