A31_SS_IPC_1 Camera Does not automatically reconnect to wifi after disconnecting daily
AnsweredMy DomeLite 2 camera randomly disconnects itsel (but usually daily) and does not automatically reconnect like every other device on my AX6000 router does. This makes it useless as a security camera because there is no way to send it a signal to powercycle itself, so it is offline from app until I physically go to the camera and unplug/replug it in. An inconvenience if I am home and have to do so in the middle of the night, a deal-breaker if I am away from home I can not monitor this security camera. This camera desperately needs a firmware update to correct this simple problem--that if it has power but has lost wifi signal then it should power cycle itself automatically without operator having to send a signal or physically be there to powercycle.

Dear Customer,Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about your A31 model camera's inability to automatically reconnect to WiFi after daily disconnections. Let’s go through some steps to ensure that your camera functions properly.1. **Check WiFi Network Stability:**- Ensure that your WiFi network is stable. Disconnecting other devices temporarily can help ascertain if the issue is due to network congestion.- Restart your router to clear any temporary network glitches.2. **Proximity to Router:**- Place the camera closer to the router to ensure a stronger WiFi signal.3. **Device and Router Settings:**- Verify that the camera and the router operate on compatible frequency bands. The A31 model supports only 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz.- Ensure the WiFi name (SSID) and password haven't changed. If they have, you will need to reconnect the camera to the WiFi network with the new credentials.4. **Reboot the Camera:**- Power off the camera and turn it back on to force a manual reconnection to the WiFi.5. **Reset Network Settings:**- If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you might need to reset the camera’s network settings:- Use the reset button on the camera to restore default settings.- Re-add the camera to your network using the Blurams App. Follow the QR Code setup process outlined in the app.I hope these steps help resolve the issue with your camera. If the problem persists, it may be beneficial to consider using a more stable WiFi setup or consulting with your Internet service provider for further assistance.Best Regards,Blurams Support Team0
