My wire-free solar powered camera is not recording continuously

I am paying for the 15-day continuous recording plan, but my camera is only recording 15-second clips about 5 minutes apart, not continuous. Is this normal? It records continuously only if I am actively watching the live feed.

  The 15 seconds clips you mentioned should be events recordings in the library, for continuous recording, please go to the live page, and use the following icon to record the video you need.

  

   

  You may scroll down the bottom half of the page to trace back videos according to the timeline.
