Camera not recording all movement.

Camera records a person or car moving away from the house but not arriving?? It 'skips' a detection half way over my drive then the Person appears

  I had a intruder it didn’t detect them inside the house but 30 minutes later it gave me the notification of the recording live bit didn’t record the event of intruders
