Motion sensor not working

I bought the camera to detect movement in my house. It faces my front door. I set the preset to focus on the door. I have motion sense on medium. The camera fails to sense motion and only picks up sound. The camera constantly faces up and inside the unit when all is quiet and doesn’t activate when there is motion.

  Yep, I have same problem, and their suggestions don’t help

  So what I did was turn off the follow motion function. It only faces the front door. This seems to work.
