Local Area Network Cable

I am running lan cables to some of my Blurams cameras.  They are currently connected to my Wi-Fi network. In order to set up to use cabled connections, all I have to do is plug it into the cameras? Or do I have to reset the cameras for it to pick up local area network only?  I do not want those cameras that have cables to utilize wi-fi.  Thank you!
